I generally try to keep it to one or two photographs from a days catch, but some days seem are richer than others.
This trio of images was made with the iso bumped up to 4000. Yes, the light was low, the images are grainy, but, that is ok. Certainly in the picket fence photograph it supplies some atmospherics. A kind of nostalgia reinforcing the already nostalgic nature of picket fences.
On any given day, my set of photographs is a collection of impressions of what I saw and responded to. The roof metal enclosure, for garbage cans I think, presents an abstract composition against the house in the background that was interesting to me. The tropical type plant behind the fence seemed somehow forlorn and out of place. But also extravagantly lush in a northeastern landscape preparing for winter.
