I just love stumbling across things that make me stop and draw me in. This book by Julia Borissova, a Russian photographer, makes me smile. It is a wonderful fairytale of sorts. About men who would fly. The photography is outstanding in my opinion.
The book is inspired by the story of two Lithuanian-American pilots who attempted a trans-atlantic crossing and did not make it. It is made for anyone that has had a dream and risked to achieve it.
I have written to her to find out about acquiring a copy. Hopefully it won't be too expensive. Let you know if I am able to.
Update: I wrote and she answered in a flash. Price, 35EU. Shipping free. What fun this is! My book collection is starting to contain some interesting things.
